Group sessions are delivered to groups in a boardroom or hands-on lab environment.
Group Sessions
These are lecture-style classes where a Learning Consultant demonstrates all the functionality of Westlaw Canada in a live demonstration projected on a screen. These sessions are not hands-on, but they are a fast and effective way to train a group in your own boardroom or off-site.
If you have a large number of staff to train quickly, the Group Sessions may be your preferred starting place. Each session takes from 90 minutes (demo only) to 3 hours (with interactive exercises and materials).
Hands-on Lab Sessions
If you prefer hands-on sessions and have your own internal computer lab, the Lab Session is the way to go. It is designed for groups of up to 10 participants. Each participant uses a computer while our experienced Learning Consultant guides the group through all the elements of the Group Session, using interactive participant materials. Each session is about 3 hours in length.

Telephone Sessions
Telephone training sessions are one-hour courses that quickly get you up and running with Westlaw Canada. These hands-on, individual sessions are conducted over the phone at a place and time convenient for you. Your Telephone Learning Consultant will assess your learning needs and focus on the functions and content of most interest to you.
One-on-One Sessions
These sessions offer hands-on training in your own office using your own computer. You will be guided through your session by an experienced Carswell Learning Consultant. In only 60 minutes, you'll be ready to get started with Westlaw Canada. Use this approach to schedule individual sessions for each member of your organization, respecting their unique and busy schedules.
